

Born in Northern California, Cameron Sewell-Snyder is a rising saxophonist, composer-arranger, and educator.
Cameron has performed at iconic venues such as Birdland, Dizzy’s Club, National Sawdust, and The New York Times Center. He has shared the stage with Melissa Aldana, Ingrid Jensen, Shenel Johns, Joe Locke, and Ingrid Jensen. His studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam deeply influenced his musical growth that has led to his development of having a distinct artistic voice shaped by both American and European jazz traditions.
Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Temple University’s Boyer College of Music in Philadelphia (2024) and with Master’s in Jazz Saxophone Performance from Manhattan School of Music (2026), he is based full-time in Brooklyn, NY.
Most recently, Cameron has performed at the Bimhuis stage in Amsterdam, NL with his band KOLLAGE. He also has recorded with mentors in, Dick Oatts, Jaleel Shaw, and Phil Markowitz, all who have made a profound impact in the direction of his musicianship.
